We are pleased to share with you the profile of Ms. Rina Gonzales, owner of Mothership Scrapbook Gal.
Rina Gonzales is the owner of Mothership Scrapbook Gal and created “Crafty Happy Hour” in 2013. Her craft business is based in Riverside, California, and hosts Crafty Happy Hour and many other craft events – for all skill levels and ages – throughout California. Rina is best known for her signature event “Crafty Happy Hour” that she began in 2013.
Crafty Happy Hour is Mothership Scrapbook Gal by Rina Gonzales’ signature event – and often referred to as “CHH”. CHH is an awesome crafting event hosted in fun venues throughout Riverside and by invitation to other cities. Crafty Happy Hour is your time to create, enjoy and unwind. No crafting experience is required. All embellishments such as pre-punched papers, stamped sentiments, stickers, buttons and adhesives are provided. Make a special handmade card in about 7-10 minutes. This event is open to everyone – all ages – crafters and non-creative gals and guys. Everyone is encouraged to bring a friend. Parents are welcome to bring their children too. Craft Happy Hour costs $5 per person, per project and a Pop Up Shop is also part of CHH. The Pop Up Shop features seasonal craft kits and gift items. In response to the growth of her business, Rina opened a creativity space this year called “Create Studio”. The studio is in Downtown Riverside and is open during Arts Walk each first Thursday of the month and for craft workshops.

Rina has a B.A. in Political Science from the University of California, Riverside and a Juris Doctorate from the University of California, Davis. Rina has worked with several national brands including: Sizzix, I Love to Create, Crafty Chica, Expressionery, OttLite, Eileen Hull Designs, Laura Kelly Designs, Chick-Fil-A and The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf.
