Annual Community Support Campaign
Each year, during the month of September, Wells Fargo team members donate financially to the nonprofits of their choice, during the Community Support and United Way Campaign. In 2014, our team members set a company record by pledging $97.7 million to nonprofits and schools, including $70.5 million pledged during our annual workplace giving campaign. For the sixth year in a row, we were named United Way Worldwide’s No. 1 workplace giving campaign in the U.S.
In support of our team members’ commitment to strengthening communities, we match individual team members’ financial contributions to eligible schools and educational foundations dollar-for-dollar, up to $5,000 per person, per calendar year. In 2014, the company matched more than $16 million of team members’ donations.
