Karen I (Serrano) Suarez, M.S.

Hispanic Lifestyle’s In the Marketplace profile of Wells Fargo Bank Community Relations Consultant. Ms. Suarez graduated from California State University, San Bernardino with a dual bachelors degree in Psychology and Human Development and an Masters of Science in Higher Education from Florida State University.

During her education career, Karen worked in a number of fields from education and government to home mortgage and non-profit. She has a wealth of skills attributed to her para-professional, professional and volunteer experiences.

In 2009, she moved back to her native California and worked for a member of Congress where she served as a Congressional Representative and Governmental Liaison to constituents in the Inland Empire in areas relating to higher education and financial aid, housing, health, and women. In 2011, she became the Business Development Director, Social Market for the American Heart Association, Inland Empire Division in Riverside managing the Go Red For Women Movement. In 2015 Karen became the Executive Director for the Vanir Foundation now The Dominguez Dream in Memory of H Frank Dominguez.

Recently, she accepted the position as The Community Relations Consultant working on Community Development for Wells Fargo.

Karen lives in Grand Terrace with her husband and daughter and enjoys crafting and volunteering in her community. Karen hopes to use her knowledge, skills and abilities in promoting education and empower the next generation to serve their communities.
