Set against the incredible backdrop of the Port of Los Angeles, with miles of public promenade and walking paths, acres of open space and scenic views, the LA Waterfront is the ideal place to play, dine, shop, and explore. From huge festivals and annual celebrations to community gatherings and special engagements, the Los Angeles Harbor Area saw more visitors last year than ever before. Below is a sneak preview of what’s to come in 2015.

Port of Los Angeles Lunar New Year Festival

Port of Los Angeles Harbor Cup 2015 Cal Maritime Intercollegiate Regatta
Los Angeles Yacht Club, 285 Whaler’s Walk, San Pedro
The Port of Los Angeles is proud to sponsor this exciting event, hosted by the California Maritime Academy, for the eighth consecutive year at Los Angeles Yacht Club, located in the beautiful Cabrillo Way Marina. This world-class regatta promotes environmental awareness, stewardship, and teambuilding among youth, while encouraging an appreciation for land and sea. World Trade Week Free Public Boat Tours

7th Annual Cars & Stripes Forever!
Gateway Plaza, Harbor Blvd. and Swinford Street, San Pedro
Pre-Independence Day celebration with a classic car show, live bands, and a grand fireworks finale at Fanfare Fountains & Water Feature, Swinford Street and Harbor Blvd.

Navy Days LA 2015
World Cruise Center, Harbor Blvd. and Swinford St., San Pedro
Get an up-close-and-personal look at the lives of our nation’s sailors aboard an active U.S. Navy vessel. Tour the ship and meet the crew during their week in port in celebration of Navy Days LA. Ship name will be announced closer to the event date. Past visiting ships have included the USS Wayne E. Meyer, USS Abraham Lincoln, and USS Gary.
